As part of capacity building, ASCI conducted the one day workshop on Energy Conservation Building Code for Real estate developers, architects, engineers to create the movement for effective implementation of ECBC in Andhra Pradesh. Around 80 participants were attended this workshop and expressed their interest towards ECBC complied constructions across the state. During workshop, The speakers explained the code compliance framework, role of real estate developers, architects and engineers for ECBC complied built environment and also conducted a discussion with the participants for strengthening the implementation of ECBC.

Vishal's current research interests are in the area of energy simulation and cool roofs. He teaches Building Automation & Controls, Green Buildings, Energy Simulation and Lighting Design & Technology. He has conducted several national and International workshops on Intelligent Buildings, Green Buildings and Energy Simulation. He holds a B.Tech. (Hons.) degree in Civil Engineering from MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur and a Ph.D. from the IIT Delhi
