Government of Telangana requested ASCI-NRDC to support the ULBs towards the effective implementation of Code in the state. ASCI-NRDC expressed the interest towards the handholding support by establishing an ECBC cell in the offices of major municipal corporations i.e., GHMC and WMC etc.

The lecture went extremely well and the Q&A session was much focussed and of a high level. The basic objective of this lecture was to provide a forum for discussion and deliberation at the highest policy making circles and also to bring visibility to this major ASCI-led project.

Awareness on Energy Efficient built environment is created among the participants and the role of individual towards ECBC complied constructions in the state. The participants have expressed the importance of ECBC complied built environment and as a primary initiative towards ECBC complied constructions, they started to spread the effectiveness of code through a news article and expressed their interest in ECBC complied built environment to government.
